About Us
TidesWell Cottage Artist Studio is a small stained glass and beadwork studio located in rural Ontario, Canada. My name is Renate Hotchkiss. I have been working in stained glass and beadwork for many years and am currently a full-time artisan. I am a member of the Meaford Creative Arts Association and the Ontario Arts Council. Most of the items sold in this studio are designed and handcrafted by me. If you like the style of the items in my studio, but would like something custom made in a different colour, or if you have an idea that you would like me to make, please feel free to contact me at renate at tideswellcottage dot com
Payment
We accept the following modes of payment:

- Canadian Money Order
We bill all orders in Canadian Dollars. If you are not in Canada, your credit card company will convert the amount into your own currency using the exchange rate at the time of billing.
Online payments are processed on a secure server. The charges are not applied to your credit card until your order is ready to be shipped.

Shipping
Most items will be shipped from our studio within 48 hours. If there is a delay, we will notify you by email immediately.
We ship via Canada Post unless specific arrangements are made to ship with another carrier. I personally warrant that any stained glass will not arrive broken. This does not include breakages occuring after arrival. Should an item arrive broken, please notify me within 48 hours at problems@tideswellcottage.com
International orders (outside of Canada and USA) may incur an additional shipping charge. If this should occur, I will notify you by email before processing the order.
We care about the environment and therefore use clean recycled packaging for shipping whenever possible. If you particularly want new packaging, please indicate this request in a note accompanying your order.
Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem, please notify us at problems@tideswellcottage.com We will respond promptly. We will try to make it right. Returns and refunds must be pre-approved. Credit card purchase refunds will be issued to the credit card the purchase was made with. We cannot refund shipping charges unless there was an error on our part.

When you order our products, contact information (email address, telephone number, address, etc.) and financial information (credit card number, credit card expiration date, billing address, etc.) is collected. This information is only used to bill you for products and services purchased here, to contact you in regards to the order you have placed or to respond to direct requests from you. Your information will not be used for any other purposes. We will not share your mailing address, other contact information or financial information with any other person or business. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site.
